Learn how to make Heavenly and Delicious Chicken Tangdi Masala with our chef Varun Inamdar<br /><br />Chicken Tangdi Masala is an easy chicken recipe which is succulent and is also loved by everyone. In Chicken Tangdi Masala, chicken legs are marinated in a yogurt marinade and cooked on the bone in a tomato-onion puree.<br />The process of cooking the chicken slowly is a great way to get the finger-licking juicy taste in every bite of chicken. For scrumptious Indian dinner, serve this Chicken Tangdi Masala with phulkas or Naan<br /><br /><br /><br />Ingredients For Marination:<br />(Serves 3)<br />- 4 tbsp Curd<br />- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice<br />- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste<br />- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder<br />- 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds Powder<br />- 1 tbsp Garam Masala <br />- 1 tsp Sugar<br />- 4-5 Green Chillies<br />- Salt<br />- 1 tsp Black Pepper<br />- 1 kg Chicken Tangdi(Chicken Drumsticks)<br /><br />Ingredients For Cooking:<br />- 2 tbsp Emami Healthy & Tasty Kachchi Ghani Mustard Oil<br />- Onion & Tomato Puree<br />- 1 cup Water<br />- Coriander Leaves <br /> <br />Method:<br />1. Take curd in a bowl, and add lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander seeds powder, garam masala, sugar, green chillies, salt, black pepper <br />2. Mix all of this, and then, add chicken tangdi(chicken drumsticks)<br />3. Mix it again and coat the chicken properly with its marinade <br />4. Keep it to marinate for about 30 minutes or you can even keep it overnight <br />7. Now, heat a medium-sized pan and add in, Emami Healthy And Tasty Kachchi Ghani Mustard Oil<br />8. Take the marinated chicken and add it in the pan to fry <br />9. Fry them over a high flame on all the sides, until they turn golden brown and keep the remaining part of the marination aside, for the gravy<br />10. Now, add the remaining marinade which was kept aside, to the pan and along with that add tomato & onion puree <br />11. Mix it well and allow it to cook over a high flame <br />12. Now, add in a cup of water. Stir it well, and cook the chicken for 15-20 minutes on a high flame <br />13. Cook it till the gravy becomes thick<br />14. Take it out in a serving bowl and sprinkle some coriander leaves from the top
